Greetings from sunny Tallahassee
Florida!
... Okay, the BIG
NEWS: (Brace Yourselves)
What started around early April with a couple of pretty
impactful dreams with both myself and Nicole (aka
Paradox) has, we believe, been confirmed by God in
various ways since.
We now want to let all of our friends and supporters know that we are moving from Roswell NM to Orlando FL! We are hopeful that from this new location God will grow the ministry in new ways which will have a broader reaching scope of impact. I'll be discussing the "long-version" reasons why the move makes sense on-air with Derek Gilbert on View from the Bunker this coming Friday Oct. 8th, probably from in Orlando! LISTEN NOW to the interview HERE If this all sounds a little crazy to you given our roles in Roswell these 11 years, don't feel bad! Imagine how my parents and church family must have felt in 1999 when it was being announced that I was moving from Nashville TN to Roswell NM in the first place! The lesson then was that moves of God almost always sound completely crazy to our natural thinking, at least at first. But to name a few good reasons that this "works for us" in the natural: We will have access to an international airport that offers much more competitive prices than the small airport in Roswell, allowing for more travel opportunities. We hope this will enable us to be better stewards towards being able to do more with our funding. 11 years in Roswell has shown that both the Church and secular community in Roswell are (of course) as a whole pre-disposed to NOT like, want to hear, or act on the message we bring. This is largely because of the amount of money made in Roswell from positively marketing the alien imagery and supposed phenomena - which we at minimum seem to effectively debunk and practically speaking, denounce. However, I've seen when speaking in Nashville, etc, that many Christians and even "non" are very receptive to our message, evidences, etc, when we present them well, i.e., with scripturally sound arguments and other convincing proofs. So in short, we are moving from a town of 50,000 who doesn't want to hear our message, to a town of 2 million that might prove to be quite open. One of our main burdens is to grow the ministry well beyond our personal effectiveness, and get the information into the hands of others, for the purpose of equipping the entire Christian church for ministry to the oppressed. We believe that this can be done better from a location with 40 times the population and in an environment that is not actively pre-disposed to be against us. As likely most of you are aware, our ministry partner Joe Jordan also lives in FL, actually about an hour from Orlando. As you can see in this year's July 2010 conference lectures athttp://www. This update was intended to come sooner, but the details of moving have kept us sooo busy. We have already packed and left Roswell, and (depending on when you're reading this - Gmail won't let us mail everyone the same day) we are currently stuck in a Tallahassee motel until Wed or Thurs due to some shoddy mechanical work that has completely wrecked our transmission, which we are awaiting some expensive repairs on - probably a complete rebuild. Frankly, we need the downtime, haha, so we thank and praise God in all circumstances - Romans 8:28, et al So please tune in Oct 8th with Derek Gilbert on http://www.VFTB.net (or LISTEN to the archive afterwards) for the full scoop. In the meantime, we ask your prayers that God's will be done, that our transition will continue safely, and that God will lead me into a good employment situation in Orlando soon. The transmission thing ($1-$2,000 depending) was of course not in the moving budget, but provided nothing else happens, we should get to and be moving into our small 2-bedroom townhome in Orlando Tuesday afternoon, God willing, with enough cushion to get by on until I'm working full-time again. This move absolutely would not have been possible without a stream of unexpected financial blessings that began pouring in after we "said yes" to the move and began to act upon what we believe God has shown us. God has been with us in all the details, and we have seen Him move in amazing ways to keep us safe on this journey and to make this transition happen. Praise the Lord! Thank you all for your years of prayer and encouragement, and we look forward to what God has planned for the future of Alien Resistance Ministries. Resistance is Mobile! God Bless,
Guy & Nicole

It is with some sadness, and also with much expectant joy of what lies ahead, that I would like to take the time to say Thank You and Good-Bye to many fine people here in Roswell for their years of help and support of my unusual and yes, controversial, calling. In response to some completely unexpected yet quite impactful personal dreams we had in April (and since), my wife and I began submitting a new vision to grow the ministry that has been birthed here in Roswell to our pastors, parents, and a few select friends. Today, that vision has become a reality, and we wish to publicly announce that we are leaving Roswell at the end of this week, moving to Orlando, Florida. It's not been an easy decision, but one that has been prayerfully considered, and in many ways, confirmed. Sparing the details here, I want to say thank you to Mr. Jeff Wilson and to Cattle Baron Restaurants, Inc., for eleven years of truly gainful employment. I hope I have served our guests well, and thank you for a steady income that has in part financed first a downtown storefront, and then some pretty amazing conferences. Thank you also to my regular guests - please come see me one more time! (And don't worry - Marlena now has all of my Top Secret recipes!) Great thanks are due to Christ's Church, for their years of financial support while I maintained a public location, offering Biblical perspectives on the UFO/Alien phenomenon and The Good News of Jesus Christ downtown, then moved into producing conferences doing the same, with an even more global impact. Personal thanks also to the many, many people who recognized what God was doing, and came along in so many ways at many times to help over the years - especially including Boyd and Kathy Barrett, Russell and Margaret Whited and family, Gerald Doerr, Philip Nelson, Ken Bertin, Dan Misner, Jillian Burgin, and Free and Amy. Extra special thanks to Pastors Lawrence and Margie Sanchez of New Destiny for their pastoral care, partnership, and prayerful covering during the most turbulent - but fruitful - recent years. This wouldn't be complete without also thanking Renee Roach and former Mayor Sam LaGrone for including me - and often going to bat for me - and for the privilege of serving with you on past UFO Festival committees to give our visitors so much more than they expected when visiting our dusty little town. Best wishes to future committees and to the UFO Museum also for meeting or exceeding the new "bar" that has been set by these fine groups of people since 2007. I've made many, many mistakes, fallen a few times, and most importantly, been held up and put back in position by the people listed above. I've "cut my teeth" here in Roswell, so to speak, and now feel prepared to share what I've learned about the Roswell Incident and the "alien" phenomena with larger audiences, as a proud "missionary from Roswell New Mexico." (For those new to what I'm referring to, the informational lectures I'm taking away to share can be viewed for free online at www.TheInvisibleBattle.com ) Thanks finally to The Roswell Daily Record, for no less than half a dozen feature articles covering the long, strange journey that has been my life here. To all - "So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish!"
Sincerely,
